Students are informed about the opportunity to participate in the competition for the award of vacant educational grants that become available during the course of higher and postgraduate education. Vacant educational grants are awarded on a competitive basis during the summer and winter vacation periods.
The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students studying on a tuition-fee basis.
The selection of candidates is based on the results of interim academic assessment, cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), as well as participation in the scientific, social, and community life of the University.
In the event of equal GPA scores, priority is given to students who have earned only A and A− grades (“Excellent”). The next priority is granted to students whose academic records consist of grades ranging from A and A− (“Excellent”) to B+, B, B−, and C+ (“Good”). Subsequently, candidates with mixed grades throughout their period of study are considered.
Information on candidates nominated for transfer to vacant educational grants is compiled by the University and submitted to the authorized body in the field of science and higher education for further review and decision-making. The relevant documents are submitted within the established deadlines – by January 25 and August 5 of the current year.
