On July 1, 2026, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) welcomed world-renowned architect, Doctor of Architecture, and founder and Creative Director of the international architectural firm WHY Architecture, Kulapat Yantrasast (PhD).

The meeting was organized as part of the university’s international cooperation efforts with the support of the U.S. Consulate General in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the university leadership, school deans, faculty members, and students of IEC (KazGASA).

During the meeting, participants discussed current trends in global architecture, approaches to designing cultural, public, and educational spaces, as well as the role of architecture in creating sustainable and comfortable urban environments. Particular attention was given to international experience in implementing landmark architectural projects and addressing contemporary challenges facing the architectural profession.

Kulapat Yantrasast shared his professional experience working on major international projects, presented the philosophy and design approach of WHY Architecture, and answered questions from participants.

The parties also discussed prospects for further academic and professional cooperation, the development of international educational initiatives, knowledge exchange, and the expansion of collaboration between IEC (KazGASA) and leading global experts in architecture and design.
