On April 15, 2026, as part of the celebration of KazGASA’s 45th anniversary, the “Knauf BuildTech Lab” training and production laboratory was officially opened at the School of Engineering of the International Educational Corporation. The project was implemented in partnership with industry partners – Knauf Gypsum Kapchagay LLP and Knauf Insulation.

The laboratory is aimed at enhancing practice-oriented student training and strengthening collaboration with the industry. The new space enables students to освоить modern dry construction technologies and work with актуal materials and tools used in professional practice.

The laboratory features solutions for studying installation technologies of structures using profiles, drywall, and other innovative construction materials. In addition, VR technologies have been introduced to expand learning opportunities and simulate real production processes.

The opening of the Knauf BuildTech Lab marks an important step in developing the university’s material and technical base and creating an environment максимально close to the conditions of the modern construction industry.
