Professor Nurkhat Zhakiev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA), participated in the Consumer Electronics Innovation Congress (CEIC 2026) and the Network Innovation and Development Alliance (NIDA) Summit in Shenzhen, China, as part of an international delegation.

International Educational Corporation (KazGASA)  was among the co-authors of the WLAN Intelligent Sensing Campus Technology and Application Research Report, which explores intelligent campus monitoring technologies and solutions for creating smart, energy-efficient educational environments.

During the visit, the delegation toured Huawei’s research and development campus and learned about innovative technologies designed for the education sector.

Professor Zhakiev also visited Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), where discussions focused on opportunities for joint research in sustainable cities, future habitats, digital twins, and green energy, as well as expanding academic mobility.
