IEC Hosts Annual Student Festival “Student Spring – 2026”

On April 27, 2026, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) hosted the large-scale student festival “Student Spring – 2026,” bringing together students from all schools of the university.

This year, the festival theme was inspired by the World Cup, combining the promotion of sports with the exploration of relevant social issues through art. Teams from the Schools of Architecture, Design, Construction, and Engineering presented original performances in a musical format, integrating theater, choreography, vocals, and multimedia elements.

Through representations of different countries, participants addressed important social topics such as inequality, corruption, environmental issues, poverty, and social stratification. The performances were enhanced by large-scale stage design and modern visual effects.

The festival included several stages. As part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative, the “Eco-Art” stage featured student-created art objects made from recycled materials, which were later incorporated into their performances. An interschool KVN competition also took place, serving as a platform for creative expression and teamwork.

Within the Year of Artificial Intelligence, participants produced video clips using AI technologies, addressing актуальные social issues. These materials were integrated into stage performances, enhancing both their visual impact and narrative depth.

IEC (KazGASA) expresses its sincere gratitude to partners and sponsors for supporting student initiatives.

Svoi Dom awarded 1,000,000 KZT to the School of Architecture team for first place. The School of Engineering took second place (500,000 KZT), and the School of Design placed third (300,000 KZT).

Gaudi presented the Audience Choice Award (200,000 KZT) to the School of Construction.

This year, the festival received strong support from partners and businesses. In addition to Svoi Dom and Gaudi, other partners also made a significant contribution.

Unilife provided certificates worth 20,000 KZT and tickets to Rahat Fest. Shin Line offered certificates for 100 ice cream servings, while Coca-Cola organized interactive World Cup-themed zones, enhancing the atmosphere and audience engagement.

The festival reflects IEC’s consistent efforts to support student initiatives and foster an active, creative, and socially responsible generation.
