From March 3 to April 8, 2026, the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) hosted the GAUDI Design Contest for the interior design of a specialized classroom, organized in collaboration with GAUDI paint and the School of Design of IEC (KazGASA), as part of the 45th anniversary celebration of KazGASA.
The competition aimed to identify the best architectural and design solutions, promote practice-oriented learning, and create a modern branded educational space at IEC (KazGASA).
On April 8, 2026, the final stage of the competition was held at the university, including an exhibition, project presentations, and the announcement of results.
Students of “Industrial and Architectural Design” programs participated by presenting interior design projects for a specialized classroom (Room 504). A total of 24 applications were submitted, with 12 projects advancing to the final stage.
The projects demonstrated a diversity of concepts, modern design approaches, and a strong focus on practical implementation. Evaluation criteria included compliance with the technical brief, originality, functionality and ergonomics of the space, and effective use of GAUDI paint products.
Based on the jury’s decision, the winners were:
