Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is regarded at LLP «IEC» as one of the key institutional values and the foundation for ensuring the quality of the University’s educational and research activities.
The University fosters an academic environment based on the principles of honesty, respect, trust, fairness, responsibility, intolerance of academic misconduct, and academic courage.
Academic integrity implies independent completion of academic tasks, proper use of sources, and the inadmissibility of plagiarism, falsification, and other forms of dishonest behavior. The University consistently implements mechanisms for preventing violations, transparent consideration of reports, and institutional accountability.
LLP «IEC» considers the assurance of academic integrity as a systemic task aimed at safeguarding the University’s reputation, enhancing the competitiveness of educational programs, and strengthening trust in the degrees awarded.

Reports are reviewed in accordance with the principles of objectivity and confidentiality.

Academic Integrity Governance Bodies

Ethics Council

A collegial body that ensures adherence to the principles of academic integrity, professional ethics, and fair conduct in educational and scientific activities. The Council reviews appeals and disputes related to violations of ethical standards, develops recommendations for their resolution, and participates in the formation and development of the university’s ethical culture.

Disciplinary Commission

The Disciplinary Commission of LLP «International Educational Corporation» is a collegial advisory body that reviews cases of violations by students of academic discipline, academic integrity principles, the Student Code of Ethics, and the Internal Regulations.
The Commission is established by order of the Rector and operates on the basis of the approved Regulation. The Commission includes representatives of the administration, faculty, and structural units of the Corporation.

Main tasks of the Commission:

ensuring students’ compliance with academic integrity principles and ethical standards;
comprehensive, objective, and collegial consideration of disciplinary cases;
adoption of decisions on the application of disciplinary measures;
preventive and explanatory work;
fostering a culture of integrity and responsibility in the educational environment.

Consideration of violations is carried out on the basis of memoranda, acts, audit materials, and other supporting documents. Meetings of the Commission are recorded in minutes. Following consideration, a decision is issued and, where necessary, disciplinary measures are applied in accordance with internal regulations.

The Disciplinary Commission ensures the principles of collegiality, objectivity, transparency, and protection of students’ rights.

The regulatory basis for the Commission’s activity is the Regulation on the Disciplinary Commission for Students approved by the Rector of LLP «IEC».
