A permanent exhibition dedicated to the creative legacy of the outstanding 20th-century architect Moisei Ginzburg has been installed on the sixth floor of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA). The exhibition has been donated to the KazGASA School of Architecture on a permanent basis.

The donation of the exhibition marks a continuation of the cooperation established through the educational and research initiatives of the School of Architecture. In August, through the UNESCO Chair, the School of Architecture organized an international conference and student workshop entitled “Preservation of the Architectural Heritage of the 20th Century: Global Challenges of Our Time,” dedicated to the study of the architectural heritage of Constructivism and Modernism. The event brought together experts and students from Germany, the United States, Türkiye, Italy, Serbia, Georgia, Brazil, and other countries in Almaty.

The event partner, architect Zhanna Spooner, was one of the sponsors of the event. Subsequently, as a token of appreciation for the cooperation, she donated to the School of Architecture the exhibition materials previously displayed at the Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture. The total value of the donated exhibition materials is KZT 3 million.

The exhibition is dedicated to the architectural legacy of Moisei Ginzburg, one of the prominent representatives of Soviet avant-garde architecture. The exhibition materials introduce students and visitors to his creative principles, projects, and contribution to the development of 20th-century architectural thought.

The exhibition has been donated to the School of Architecture and will now become a permanent part of the educational environment of IEC (KazGASA). Unlike temporary exhibitions, it will remain on display at the university on a permanent basis, allowing the materials to be used in the educational process, research activities, and professional discussions among students and faculty members.
