The IEC hosted an international scientific and practical conference on digital architecture and artificial intelligence

On April 13-14, 2026, the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) hosted an international scientific and practical conference titled “Digital Architecture, Construction and Artificial Intelligence for the Creative Economy,” held as part of the celebration of KazGASA’s 45th anniversary.

The event brought together scientists, experts, and representatives of universities and industry from Kazakhstan and abroad to discuss current issues of digital transformation in the architecture and construction sector, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into education and professional practice.

The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliyev, Rector of the International Education Corporation (KazGASA). During the plenary session, participants discussed modern approaches to engineering and architectural education, the role of artificial intelligence in design, and new models for training specialists for the creative economy.

International experts from Spain, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, China, and other countries delivered presentations. Key topics included digital architecture, sustainable construction, seismic safety, and the integration of AI technologies into educational and design processes.

The conference program featured thematic panel sessions on architecture in the context of digital transformation, modern solutions in the construction industry, and the development of future design. Participants discussed the application of artificial intelligence, digital modeling, additive technologies, and new media in professional practice.

On the second day, a roundtable session was held, focusing on digital transformation of the industry, the implementation of BIM technologies, and the use of analytical tools in construction and architecture. Research by doctoral students and young scientists was also presented.

Following the conference, participants emphasized the importance of integrating science, education, and industry to train a new generation of specialists and to advance the architecture, construction, and creative sectors.

The conference confirmed the role of IEC (KazGASA) as an international platform for academic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the development of modern approaches to engineering and design education.
