As part of the joint academic programme between IEC and Tsinghua SIGS, master’s and doctoral students from both universities worked in mixed international teams on research and design tasks related to the Alatau City project.

Participants attended lectures, collaborated within their teams, and developed project solutions. On September 30, they visited the Iconic Building and the K-Park construction site, and also explored WATG’s work on the master plan for a recreational area.

On October 3, the programme concluded with final presentations. The international teams presented the outcomes of their project work and shared the solutions developed during the programme.

At the closing ceremony, participants received letters of appreciation in recognition of their contribution to the programme and the collaborative initiative.

The programme contributed to strengthening academic ties between IEC and Tsinghua SIGS, fostering international knowledge exchange, and advancing joint educational and design initiatives.
