The International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) is introducing a unified AI ecosystem-a suite of intelligent services designed to support learning, work, and the university’s development.
The new digital environment brings together an AI tutor and AI agents for students, analytics and automation tools for employees, and the university’s own secure computing infrastructure.
The AI tutor will serve as each student’s personal digital assistant. It will proactively send reminders about class schedules, current academic performance, and upcoming assessments, as well as recommend which topics to review and what to prepare for.
Students will not need to submit a request each time: the AI tutor will proactively highlight important information and help them complete essential academic tasks on time.
AI agents will enable students to:
- view their current class schedules;
- check grades and transcripts;
- obtain tuition payment information;
- request the necessary certificates;
- find answers to questions related to the academic process.
The AI agents’ responses will be generated using up-to-date university data and will take each user’s access permissions into account. The services will be available through the mobile application and iPortal, while a unified conversation history will allow users to continue interacting with their digital assistant across different devices.
The IEC (KazGASA) AI ecosystem also includes digital solutions that will help employees work with information more efficiently, analyse data, and make well-informed decisions.
The Ask AI-enabled dashboard creates analytical pages and reports from plain-text requests. Users will be able to describe a task in their own words, after which the system will generate the relevant analysis and visual representation of the data.
AI Meet transcribes work meetings and identifies key points, recorded decisions, and assigned tasks. This will reduce the time required to prepare meeting minutes and improve the efficiency of teamwork.
Control AI brings organisations’ key performance indicators together in a unified digital environment. Intelligent video analytics integrated into the system will help campus services promptly identify situations requiring attention.
Particular emphasis is placed on information security in the development of the AI ecosystem. The AI services operate on IEC’s (KazGASA) own computing infrastructure.
Academic data, user enquiries, and work meeting recordings are not transferred to external AI services. Each user can access only the information permitted by their role and authorisation level.
The development of its own AI ecosystem marks an important stage in IEC’s (KazGASA) digital transformation. The introduction of intelligent technologies will make educational and administrative processes more convenient, efficient, and personalised while ensuring the reliable protection of student and employee data.
