The IEC hosted a guest lecture by international experts in urbanism and sustainable development

On June 1, 2026, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) welcomed an international delegation of experts in strategic urban planning, sustainable development, architecture, and digital technologies.

As part of the visit, a guest lecture was held for students and faculty members of the IEC (KazGASA) dedicated to modern approaches to urban development, sustainable urbanism, digital technologies in design, and the integration of innovative solutions into architectural and engineering practice. The visit and engagement of international experts were supported by Caspian Integrity.

The event featured international experts with extensive experience in implementing large-scale projects worldwide:

His presentation focused on the application of parametric tools, digital modeling, and automation in complex architectural and infrastructure projects.

An introductory tour around the IEC (KazGASA) campus was also organized for the guests. The delegation visited specialized laboratories, educational spaces, and research facilities, and became acquainted with the university’s infrastructure, academic programs, and modern practice-oriented teaching approaches.

In addition, a working meeting was held to discuss the IEC (KazGASA)’s participation in the Alatau city development and construction project. The parties explored prospects for the university’s expert and academic involvement in this large-scale urban initiative, including urban planning, sustainable development, architectural design, digital modeling, and training specialists for the future city.

The participants also discussed opportunities for integrating international expertise and the IEC (KazGASA)’s scientific and educational potential into the development of Alatau’s modern urban infrastructure. Special attention was given to joint research activities, the involvement of students and faculty in project initiatives, and the development of practice-oriented collaboration between the university, the expert community, and industry.
