On April 30, 2026, the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) held an award ceremony as part of the Academic Council meeting, honoring employees, faculty members, and representatives of partner organizations.

A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of Minister Sayasat Nurbek.

The following recipients were awarded honorary diplomas of the Ministry:

• Svetlana Buganova – Professor, School of Engineering;
• Lyazzat Nurkusheva – Research Professor, School of Design;
• Roza Zhumagulova – Head of the Department of Technical and Natural Sciences;
• Ainur Tukhtamisheva – Associate Professor, School of Engineering;
• Elvira Danibekova – Head of the Department of Urban Planning and Design Fundamentals.

Mehri­banu Bekrimzhanovna Glaudinova, Head of the UNESCO Chair, Professor of the School of Architecture, Doctor of Architecture, was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Higher Education of Kazakhstan” by the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

Letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education were awarded to:

• Farida Abdillaeva – Registrar, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee;
• Tursyn Dusipova – Director of the Department of Social Development;
• Elvira Utepergenova – Director of the Marketing Department;
• Lyazzat Skakova – Vice-Rector for Financial and Administrative Affairs;
• Ayana Zhuandykova – HR Director;
• Nazym Kaidarova – Director of the Department of Academic Affairs.

In addition, letters of appreciation from the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Kazakhstan were awarded to:

• Manas Khasenov – Dean of the School of Architecture, Associate Professor;
• Aliya Aldungarova – Dean of the School of Engineering, Research Professor, PhD, Associate Professor;
• Orazaly Seitkazinov – Dean of the School of Construction, Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences;
• Turar Uzakbayev – Acting Dean of the School of Design, Associate Professor, PhD;
• Aizhan Akhmedova – Research Professor of the School of Design, Doctor of Architecture, Associate Professor;
• Vitaliy Khomyakov – Research Professor of the School of Construction, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.
