On February 27, 2026, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) hosted the inter-school tournament “Debate Cup 2026,” organized to promote the development of the debate movement, foster a culture of reasoned discussion, and strengthen student engagement.
During the tournament, teams from the university’s schools discussed relevant and thought-provoking topics, including: “In the modern world, is creativity more перспективе than a stable job?” and “Artificial Intelligence: a replacement for the artist or a new creative tool?” In the final round, participants presented their school’s position on key issues, demonstrating a high level of analytical thinking and public speaking skills.
In the decisive round, the teams of the School of Construction and the School of Architecture competed. Following an intense debate, the School of Architecture won the tournament. The winners were awarded a cup, diplomas, and KazGASA branded merchandise.
The jury included the leader of the Women’s Pedagogical University Debate Club and the founder of the “President LDC” Debate Club, ensuring a professional and objective evaluation.
The event format included team rounds between schools with winners determined according to the tournament bracket.
The “Debate Cup 2026” became an important step in developing academic debate culture and strengthening the university’s active student community.
