The “FORM & FUNCTION” Functional Model Competition Held at IEC

On February 23, 2026, the “FORM & FUNCTION” functional model competition was held at the International Education Corporation (KazGASA). The competition was aimed at developing professional competencies of students in architecture, design, construction, and engineering, as well as promoting project-based and practice-oriented activities.

As part of the event, teams publicly presented the results of their project work. Participants, organized into teams of 2-3 members, showcased functional models demonstrating structural stability, engineering soundness, ergonomics, and a creative approach to solving design challenges.

The competition served as a platform for developing constructive thinking, engineering analysis skills, and teamwork. The presented projects were distinguished by a high level of elaboration and practical orientation, confirming students’ readiness to apply their knowledge in real project conditions.

Following the results of the competition, the best teams were awarded diplomas, certificates of appreciation, and commemorative prizes, including smart devices “Yandex Alice.”
