IEC Participated in a British Council Workshop on Developing Dual Degree Programs

 

On February 5-6, 2026, a workshop titled “Developing Dual Degree Programs” was held in Astana and organized by the British Council. The event aimed to promote international cooperation and global partnerships between higher education institutions.

Following a competitive selection process, Nazym Kaidarova, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of the International Education Corporation (KazGASA), was selected as a participant of the workshop. The event brought together representatives of approximately 40 higher education institutions from various regions of Kazakhstan, selected based on their professional experience.

During the workshop, participants explored key approaches to the development and implementation of dual degree programs, issues of academic mobility, alignment of curricula, as well as best international practices in the field of transnational education.

Nazym Kaidarova shared a practical case of the International Education Corporation (KazGASA), presenting the academy’s experience in implementing and developing international educational initiatives, as well as its potential for expanding cooperation with international partners. The presented case generated strong interest among participants and served as a basis for professional exchange of experience.
