Preventive Event on Law and Public Safety Held at IEC

On January 28, 2026, a preventive event was held at the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) with the participation of Malğajy Eldar Yerboluly, district police inspector of the Bostandyk District Police Department of Almaty, the Head and Deputy Head of the IEC Security Service, as well as the Compliance Officer.

The event was aimed at preventing and deterring administrative and criminal offenses among students. During the meeting, students were informed about the requirements of current legislation related to the acquisition, storage, carrying, and transportation of cold and electric weapons, ammunition, including knuckle-dusters, telescopic batons, electroshock devices, spark discharge devices, cartridges, their components, and other prohibited items.

Special attention was given to the prevention of drug abuse, fights, and extortion, the inadmissibility of unlawful intimate relationships with minors, as well as liability for the consumption of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and vapes.

As part of the lecture, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the security service provided examples from real professional practice, discussed relevant issues, and gave detailed answers to students’ questions.

More than 140 students from all schools of the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) took part in the preventive event. The meeting contributed to raising students’ legal awareness and fostering law-abiding behavior.
