On January 28, 2026, the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) hosted Design Showcase, a series of educational events dedicated to the 45th anniversary of KazGASA. The program included an Open Day, lectures, and meetings with practicing designers.

The initiative for organizing Design Showcase was led by the Vertex design studio. Its head, Madina Kassymbekova, is a member of the Industrial Committee of the School of Design and also serves on the Academic and Methodological Association.

As part of the event, the International Education Corporation (KazGASA) was visited by leading representatives of the professional design community, including Madina Kassymbekova, Chief Designer and Head of Vertex Studio; Ekaterina Pupchenok, Lead Designer at Vertex Studio; Victoria Baeleva, Chief Designer and Founder of Wabi-Sabi Studio; Anna Kotelnikova, Chief Designer and Founder of BiancoNeroStudio; Tatyana Kolesnikova, Founder and Lead Designer of BRIO Interiors; Asset Makhambetaliyev, Head of Sense Design Studio; Yana Khokh, Architectural Environment Designer and Head of InArt Design Studio; Marina Sapunova, Founder of the ACCORDO PRIMA Author Interior Bureau; as well as Irina Kuzmina, Designer at AsNova Group LLP.

In order to develop and strengthen cooperation between practicing designers and the School of Design, a special program was developed. Within this framework, participants took part in the Open Day, met with faculty members of the School of Design, visited educational and research laboratories, and presented topics on which they are ready to conduct master classes and lectures for students.

As a result of the Open Day, a plan of lecture-based and practical meetings for third- and fourth-year students was developed. In addition, further cooperation and the implementation of joint educational initiatives were discussed with the design studios and companies that participated in Design Showcase.
