On January 23, 2026, a guest lecture by international architect Algirdas Urbonas took place at the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA). The founder and Chief Architect of Urbon Design delivered a lecture to IEC (KazGASA) students entitled “How Architecture Influences People and How People Influence Architecture.”

During the lecture, key topics were discussed, including the impact of architecture on society, the role of humans in shaping the built environment, and contemporary approaches to architectural design. The students showed strong interest in the topic, actively asking questions and participating in the discussion.

As part of the visit, Algirdas Urbonas met with the Rector of IEC (KazGASA), Bakhtiyar Sablenaliyev. The meeting focused on prospects for further cooperation, including internship opportunities for architecture students and potential career pathways.

IEC (KazGASA) places great importance on supporting young professionals and strives to create conditions that enable its graduates to successfully build careers in leading international architectural firms.
