On January 15–16, 2026, a delegation of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) took part in the Forum “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Current State and Development Prospects”, held in Astana. The Forum was organized by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The IEC (KazGASA) delegation included Rector Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Zhangazy Moldamuratov, and Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Nazym Kaidarova.

The participation of IEC (KazGASA) in the Forum was aimed at addressing current issues related to the development of quality assurance systems in higher and postgraduate education, improving internal quality assurance mechanisms, and adapting international accreditation and educational program evaluation standards to the activities of the academy.

Within the framework of the Forum, representatives of the academy participated in the plenary session, thematic sessions, and international workshops with the involvement of leading accreditation agencies, including QAA, ASIIN, and NAAR. The discussions focused on preparing educational programs for international accreditation, fostering a culture of quality, assessing research outcomes, and enhancing PhD training.

The expert recommendations and analytical materials obtained during the Forum will be utilized in the further development of educational programs, the improvement of the internal quality assurance system, and the implementation of IEC (KazGASA)’s strategic priorities in education and science.
