On November 14, 2025, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) was visited by a delegation from the China-SCO Center for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Cooperation of the People’s Republic of China. The Center serves as China’s official national platform for cooperation with SCO member states in the fields of science and technology, education, and innovation.
The delegation included Jin Benjun, Chairman of the Board of the Shandong Educational Holding “Shanda Xueshi,” Gu Xinhui, Head of the Marketing Department of the holding, Luo Yimin, Director of the Inner Mongolia Center for Human Resources and Industrial Talent Development, Liu Zhiwei, Head of the International Department of the Center, Liu Hongzhi, Deputy Director of the China-SCO Center, and Abai Sakhanov, Head of the International Relations Department of the China-SCO Center.
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the launch of the “Ban·Mo Institute” (Ban·Mo College), a new training and production platform designed to prepare engineering and technical specialists under the model “1 university + 1 Chinese college + 1 enterprise.” This format integrates educational technologies, industrial processes, and international expertise, enabling students of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) to receive training aligned with modern industry standards. In addition, the prospects for partnership between KazGASA College, Digital College, and Chinese colleges were discussed.
The delegation reviewed the infrastructure of the International Educational Corporation, visited laboratories, and discussed opportunities for joint educational programs, academic exchanges, internships, and industrial placements. The leadership of the IEC (KazGASA) emphasized that the visit is an important step in strengthening Kazakhstan-China cooperation aimed at improving the quality of engineering education and implementing innovative technologies.
