On November 6, 2025, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) hosted a forum with representatives of the public association Women in Tech Kazakhstan, organized for students of the School of Engineering.
The event was held in a panel session format under the theme “Live, Learn, Create: Energy, Leadership, and AI.” The main goal of the forum was to inspire students to develop leadership and entrepreneurial qualities, showcase real career paths in the field of technology, and discuss how to maintain balance and energy in the era of artificial intelligence.
The discussion featured leading representatives of Kazakhstan’s IT industry:
- Laura Salamat – Certified IT Architect, Head of Digital Transformation at the NNEF Public Foundation, representative of Women in Tech Kazakhstan;
- Assel Marchenko – Deputy Chair of the National Payment Corporation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Google Developer Group ambassador, and organizer of tech events;
- Tatyana Plotnikova – Founder of the startup gro.now, alumna of the TechWomen program, and member of Women in Tech Kazakhstan.
The speakers shared their personal stories and professional experiences, discussing how to balance studies, work, sports, and community involvement, develop individual projects, and effectively use the opportunities provided by artificial intelligence.
The forum became a significant event for IEC (KazGASA) students, allowing them to gain new perspectives on career development in the IT field and inspiring them to pursue their own innovative initiatives.
