On October 31, 2025, the International Forum of Strategic Partners “Kazakhstan – Territory of Academic Knowledge” was held in Astana with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Head of State emphasized the strategic importance of education and science, highlighting their key role in shaping the country’s future.
“Strong universities are factories of the future, where new ideas are born and the contours of a just world are formed,” said the President.
The forum discussed issues of international cooperation in the fields of science and higher education, the expansion of academic mobility, and the modernization of the educational ecosystem.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, noted that a network of 40 branches of foreign universities is being established in Kazakhstan, with 85% of their programs focused on high-tech areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, and natural sciences.
The forum was also attended by Bakhtiyar Asylbaiuly Sabdenaliev, Rector of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA). His participation reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to advancing higher education and expanding international cooperation.
