On September 8, 2025, the International educational corporation (KazGASA) hosted the visit of H.E. Luis F. Martinez-Montes, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the visit program, a guided tour of the university was organized, including visits to academic buildings and specialized laboratories.

The key highlight of the visit was the meeting between the Ambassador and the Rector of IEC, Bakhytzhar Asylbayuly Sabdenaliev. During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for expanding international cooperation, with particular attention given to potential partnerships with Spanish universities and companies, as well as the implementation of joint educational and scientific initiatives.
