From January 19 to 23, 2026, the “Winter School – 2026: Scientific and Educational Ecosystem of the University: Contemporary Challenges” was held at the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA). The event was aimed at enhancing the scientific and teaching-methodological qualifications of university faculty members.
The Winter School was organized in both offline and online formats and brought together faculty members, young researchers, and doctoral students from leading universities in Almaty. A number of seminars were integrated with the “QazScience” scientific and academic seminar organized by the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enabling participation of representatives from scientific organizations across various regions of the country.
During the Winter School, a series of substantive seminars were conducted with the participation of leading experts in science, innovation, and international educational programs. Participants discussed issues of scientific and innovative development, technology commercialization, as well as mechanisms for participation in grant-funded and international programs, including Erasmus+. Master classes and seminars were also held on pedagogical innovations, academic writing, the integration of science and education, and the topic “Architecture of the Digital University – 2026.”
Thus, the Winter School became a significant platform for professional development, exchange of experience, and strengthening of academic cooperation.
