On 26 December 2025, as part of the events marking the 45th anniversary of KazGASA, representatives of the Private Educational Institution “SOS Children’s Village Almaty” presented letters of appreciation to the IEC’s administration and students of the School of Architecture.

At the Department of Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings, students Amina Smailova (group AJiOZ-23-21) and Kamila Biketova (group AJiOZ-22-19) were recognized. Under the supervision of Leading Associate Professors Anatoliy Pryanik and Oksana Priemets, they participated in the implementation of a social project focused on the reconstruction of the SOS Children’s Village building.

As part of the project, the students developed two conceptual design proposals reflecting practical architectural and planning solutions that meet the functional and social requirements of the facility, while also demonstrating a creative and professional approach to design.

Representatives of SOS Children’s Village Almaty expressed their gratitude to the Academy’s leadership, faculty members, and students for their contribution to the socially significant project, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with the IEC in the training of future professionals and the development of socially oriented architecture.
