Places great emphasis on creating conditions for physical development, active recreation, and promoting the health of students and staff.

The university campus features a Sports and Wellness Complex (SWC) that includes both indoor and outdoor sports areas, as well as a modern fitness gym.

Main sports facilities on campus

All facilities meet sanitary and technical safety standards, are equipped with modern sports equipment, and are used for physical education, sports clubs, and interschool competitions within IEC.

Fitness gyms

Located in the Sports Club building and in the Student House; designed for individual and group workouts aimed at strengthening health and maintaining physical fitness.

Indoor sports areas

Basketball and volleyball halls, futsal hall, gym, aerobics hall, and wrestling hall.

Outdoor sports grounds

Basketball, volleyball, and mini-football courts available to students and staff according to the complex’s operating schedule.

Description of sports disciplines

Gym – includes a cardio zone, strength training equipment, and facilities for functional workouts.

Basketball

A team sport that develops agility, endurance, and coordination.

Volleyball

Enhances strength, reaction speed, and teamwork.

Futsal

An adapted form of football focused on tactical and physical training.

Aerobics

A set of exercises performed to music that strengthens the cardiovascular system and increases endurance.

The SWC is a multifunctional space combining facilities for team sports, strength training, and fitness. Regular training sessions help develop strength and endurance, strengthen the cardiovascular system, and prevent illnesses.

Access is granted to students and staff upon presentation of a university pass.

When external sports facilities (such as city gyms or swimming pools) are used, IEC signs official cooperation agreements with organizations to ensure access for students and faculty.
