Psychological Service

Goals, Objectives, and Structure

The goal of the Psychological Service is to maintain students’ psychological well-being, create a positive social and psychological environment within the educational institution, and provide psychological support to all participants in the educational process. 

The structure of the Psychological Service is determined by the type, nature, and needs of the educational institution, as well as the number of staff positions.

The service operates within a dedicated psychological relief office, which is equipped with the necessary conditions for conducting socio-psychological consultations, diagnostics, corrective and developmental activities, and preventive sessions with students, parents, and teaching staff in both group and individual formats. 

Functions and Activities of the Psychological Service

— Assisting the teaching staff with psychological and pedagogical matters. 

— Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting psychological diagnostic data. 

— Identifying causes and mechanisms of learning difficulties, developmental challenges, and social adaptation issues. 

— Conducting socio-psychological group activities to foster essential qualities and develop psychological competence.

— Training all participants in the educational process in self-diagnosis, self-correction, self-control, and self-development techniques. 

— Developing value orientations and life priorities aimed at strengthening psychological and physical health, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and fostering self-fulfillment. 

— Facilitating students' personal development while preserving their individuality through collaboration between psychologists and the teaching staff. 

— Providing psychological and pedagogical support to at-risk students and those under internal university supervision.
