Open Lecture on the Right to Personal Freedom Held at the IEC

On February 13, 2026, an open lecture titled “The Right to Personal Freedom: Legal Foundations and Responsibility for Violence, Stalking, and Forced Marriage” was held at the International Education Corporation (KazGASA).

The event aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness and promote a culture of respect for human rights. During the lecture, key provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the protection of personal freedom were discussed, as well as legal liability for violence, stalking, and forced marriage.

Special attention was given to practical mechanisms for protecting one’s rights, recommended actions in cases of violations of personal freedom, and procedures for обращения to competent authorities. Participants discussed актуальные social and legal issues, asked questions, and received detailed explanations.

Such events contribute to fostering a safe educational environment, strengthening the principles of academic integrity, and developing students’ legal culture.
