Monitoring Group of the League of Academic Integrity Visited IEC

From March 10 to 13, 2026, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) was visited by a monitoring group of the League of Academic Integrity as part of an official working visit. During the visit, a comprehensive evaluation of the university’s activities was conducted, focusing on mechanisms for ensuring academic integrity, transparency of educational processes, and the level of digitalization.

During the visit, the monitoring group held a meeting with the university’s leadership. The meeting was attended by the Rector of IEC, Bakhtiyar Asylbayuly Sabdenaliyev, as well as the university’s vice-rectors. The participants discussed key directions for the development of academic policy, issues related to quality assurance in education, and the implementation of academic integrity principles within the educational environment.

The monitoring group also held meetings with the university’s administrative staff, deans of schools, and heads of departments.

Separate meetings were organized with faculty members, students, alumni, and employers. These discussions addressed the quality of the educational process, cooperation between the university and industry partners, and the implementation of academic integrity principles in teaching and research activities.

As part of the visit, the monitoring group was given a tour of the university, where guests were introduced to the educational infrastructure, classrooms, laboratories, and digital services of the university. The delegation also visited Student Houses No. 1 and No. 2, where they were shown the living conditions provided for students.

Special attention was paid to assessing the level of digitalization of the university, the functioning of its information systems, and the review of supporting documentation reflecting the organization of educational and administrative processes.

At the conclusion of the visit, a final meeting was held with the leadership of the International Educational Corporation. Representatives of the League of Academic Integrity noted the high level of digitalization of the university, the systematic nature of its management processes, and positively assessed the university’s work in ensuring academic integrity and developing a modern educational environment.
