The Rector of the International Educational Corporation, Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliyev, and the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Zhangazy Moldamuratov, conducted an official working visit to the Republic of Turkey. During the visit, they held a series of meetings with the leadership of leading universities and representatives of industry. The discussions focused on developing partnerships in the fields of education, science, and innovation, as well as creating new opportunities for students and faculty of IEC (KazGASA).
As a result of the working visit, cooperation agreements were reached with eight leading technical and specialized universities in Turkey. This represents a significant step in strengthening IEC’s international partnerships and contributes to the further development of the university’s scientific and educational potential.
During the meetings, memoranda of cooperation were signed with the following universities:
- Hacettepe University (Ankara)
- OSTIM Technical University (Ankara)
- Konya Technical University (Konya)
- Middle East Technical University (METU) (Ankara)
- Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (Ankara)
- Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBU)
- Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul)
Additionally, negotiations were held with Istanbul Technical University (Istanbul), during which both parties expressed mutual interest in developing a partnership.
Rector of IEC, Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliyev, emphasized:
“It is particularly important to note that Amirlan Aidarbekovich (Honorary President of KazGASA and Founder of the International Educational Corporation) first established contact with Yildiz Technical University back in 2013, and now, after several years, we have successfully restored our institutional collaboration.”
The signed agreements open broad prospects for academic mobility, joint research projects, and internships for students and faculty.
