IEC and the National Museum-Reserve “Aziret Sultan” Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On November 20, 2025, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) welcomed a delegation from the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Aziret Sultan” (Turkestan). During the meeting, the Rector of IEC, Bakhtiyar Sabdenaliev, and the Director of the museum-reserve, Nurlan Dukenbaev, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the International Educational Corporation and the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Aziret Sultan”.

The memorandum outlines joint scientific research, project work, as well as the participation of IEC (KazGASA) students in initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting Kazakhstan’s architectural heritage. The parties also discussed opportunities for practical training, including student involvement in restoration and research projects related to the historical and cultural sites of Turkestan.

Special attention was given to developing human resources in the field of cultural heritage preservation and creating conditions for students to participate in real restoration and research processes.

The International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) is actively advancing this direction: the university hosts a UNESCO Chair and implements the academic program “Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage,” aimed at training high-level specialists in restoration, museology, and cultural expertise.
