On November 20, 2025, the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) welcomed a delegation from the Islamic University of Malaysia: Professor, PhD Alias Abdullah, scientific supervisor of the IEC (KazGASA) PhD students, and Dr. Farid ibn Jafar Sidek.

The delegation was given a tour of the campus and introduced to the corporation’s scientific laboratories and academic facilities. The guests highly appreciated the infrastructure of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) and expressed great interest in opportunities for joint research and academic cooperation.

On November 25, a guest lecture was delivered by Professor, PhD Alias Abdullah for the students of the School of Architecture at the IEC (KazGASA). The lecturer shared his experience of participating in public hearings on the legislative development plans of Kuala Lumpur and presented a report titled “The Conundrum of Public Participation in Kuala Lumpur Statutory Planning Process.”

Professor Alias Abdullah is an expert in urban planning and has repeatedly participated in public hearings on legislative initiatives in the capital of Malaysia, which makes his lecture especially valuable for future specialists.
