Business Meeting with Seojeong University Delegation (Republic of Korea) Held at the IEC

On October 23, 2025, a business meeting took place at the IEC (KazGASA) between representatives of Kazakhstani educational institutions and the delegation of Seojeong University (Republic of Korea).
The event was organized by the Global Sapa International Academy and moderated by Dr. Sattar Fazylovich Mazhitov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician, and Director of the International Institute for the Integration of Social and Humanitarian Research “Intellect Orda.” The meeting was opened with a welcoming address by Bakhtiyar Asylbaevich Sabdenaliev, Rector of the International Educational Corporation (IEC).

During the meeting, Kim Hong Yong, Chairman of Seojeong University, presented the university’s profile and key areas of development, including innovative approaches to education, programs in artificial intelligence, digital design, robotics, and engineering of the future.

The South Korean delegation included Chairman Kim Hong Yong, President Yang Young Hee, Vice President Cho Hoon – representing the Korean Council for College Education (KCCE), a national organization uniting 131 colleges of the Republic of Korea – as well as professors from Seojeong University.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Tripartite Memorandum of Cooperation between the IEC (KazGASA), the Global Sapa International Academy, and Seojeong University. The memorandum outlines joint initiatives such as academic mobility programs, internships, double degree programs, and professional development courses for educators.

Additionally, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) and the Korean Council for College Education (KCCE) – a key institution coordinating the development of colleges and vocational education in Korea. Plans include expanding collaboration in technical and vocational education, sharing academic experience, and implementing innovative educational projects.

This visit marked an important step in strengthening academic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of technical, vocational, and higher education, as well as in promoting innovation and scientific exchange.
