AIACE Alumni Supported the Academy’s Anniversary with a Greening Initiative

On March 18, 2026, in the early days of spring, the Alumni Association of the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA, formerly AIACE ), together with alumni of the AIACE AS-86 group (who studied from 1986 to 1991, groups 1–3), implemented a campus greening initiative dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the university.

The tree planting was organized as part of the “Green Belt” initiative and continued a long-standing tradition of alumni who have been contributing to the improvement of their alma mater for several years.

In anticipation of the anniversary celebrations, the Academy also expects the participation of international alumni currently living abroad. The arrival of graduates from Europe, Asia, and Africa highlights KazGASA’s strong international standing and reflects the lasting ties between the alma mater and its global alumni community.

As part of the event, alumni planted trees on campus. In particular, green blue spruce saplings were planted, which will become part of the university’s landscape in the future. The initiative aimed to improve the campus environment, enhance ecological conditions, and create a more comfortable space for students and staff.

The initiative carried not only practical but also symbolic significance. The tree planting reflects continuity between generations, respect for the alma mater, and a commitment to contributing to the university’s development, which played an important role in shaping the professional paths of its graduates.

In addition to participating in the greening efforts, alumni provided sponsorship support to the university. The funds raised will be directed toward further development of infrastructure and campus improvement.

The International Educational Corporation (KazGASA) expresses its sincere gratitude to the alumni for their active involvement in university life, their contribution to its development, and their commitment to preserving its traditions. Such initiatives demonstrate a high level of alumni engagement and strengthen intergenerational ties, contributing to the formation of a sustainable academic community.
