Guest Lecture by Professor Douglas K. Hartman Held at IEC

On November 10, a guest lecture by Professor Douglas K. Hartman from Michigan State University (USA) took place at the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA).
The lecture, titled “How do we equip 100 million teachers worldwide to use GenAI ethically and effectively?”, focused on modern approaches to applying generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in education.

Professor Hartman discussed how AI technologies can enhance the quality of teaching and what steps are needed to ensure their ethical and effective use in the learning process. He also shared practical recommendations on integrating GenAI into educational programs and preparing teachers to work with new digital tools.

Additionally, Professor Hartman shared his insights and suggestions regarding the potential establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the International Educational Corporation (KazGASA).

The guest lecture provided participants with a new perspective on the role of technology in education and highlighted its potential to foster an innovative learning environment.
